While the UofM closes their doors, CoreHealth is chosen as one of a select few partners to continue delivering the most widely used and researched HRA in the world.
Kelowna, BC - October 3, 2016 - CoreHealth Technologies is very pleased to announce that it has reached an agreement with the University of Michigan to offer the world renowned Health Risk Assessment (HRA) developed by the University’s Health Management Research Center (HMRC).
After 35 years of contributions to the development and advancement of the wellness industry, the University will be closing the HMRC as of December 31, 2016. The University will continue to license the HRA industry partners.
HMRC built its reputation as a pioneer in delivering health measurement products and analysis services linking health behavior, status, and culture to financial outcomes. It established the scientific foundation for the wellness field and created the gold standard HRA. The University’s HRA has been completed by more than 12 million individuals representing more than 20,000 organizations. It is the most widely used and researched HRA in the world. The data has been used in hundreds of publications and is scientifically backed.
CoreHealth will build on the value of the assessment by embedding the intellectual property into its flexible corporate wellness platform. The platform is used by corporate wellness companies, insurers, health coaching companies, employee assistance providers, group benefits brokers and human resources consulting firms around the world who will benefit by this offering.
The HRA will be revised with an improved look and feel, be easily customized and translated to any language while keeping the science intact. Together, one of the only truly validated assessments will become that much stronger. CoreHealth will continue to work with industry researchers to ensure the HRA continues to evolve as a result of new scientific data.
In addition to the University of Michigan’s HRA, CoreHealth also partners and seamlessly integrates the platform with other third-party HRA providers to give customers alternate solutions that best meet their unique needs.
CoreHealth welcomes existing University of Michigan HRA customers and will facilitate the transition to the new HRA on the platform prior to year-end 2016 in order to continue the service seamlessly.
